Nella and Eliza were such a great pairing. I loved Caroline's passion for history and I loved seeing her find herself while tracking down Nella's story. It added to the atmosphere of the book and made it feel even more realistic. I really loved how we got a present day view and a first person account. This story switches between Caroline, Nella and Eliza's POVs. 12 year old Eliza is her customer and the two end up forming an unlikely friendship that will change the both of them.
